Is my chat really private?
Personal and small-group chats are end-to-end encrypted with the Matrix Megolm protocol — Sutron's servers cannot read them. No ads target them, no AI trains on them. This is enforced in the architecture, not just a policy page.
Can big communities be encrypted too?
Large business spaces use MLS (RFC 9420), the IETF standard for group encryption at scale.
Do bots read my messages?
Bots see joins, leaves and room metadata — never message content in private rooms. Private 1:1 rooms are bot-free by default.
Does it work on a slow phone?
Chat works fully offline and cold-starts in under 1.5 seconds. Sutron targets ₹10,000 Android phones on 3G as the baseline, not the exception.
